Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How Long will it take to find a nanny?
A: Typically, plan on 4-6 weeks. Althought it could be faster, we want to make sure that it is an ideal match for both the nanny and family. If you need childcare assistance sooner, we will refer you to our Sitter club to help during the transition which is complementary during your first year as part of the Midwest Elite Nannies family.
Q: What if the nanny we hired doesn’t work out for some reason?
A: There is a 90 day grace period. If the nanny leaves the position or the family is unhappy for any reason Midwest Elite Nannies will refer additional candidates until a replacement is found at no cost.
Q: How do you screen the nannies?
A: All of our nannies participate in a face to face interview and a thorough background check as part of our screening process. All of our nannies have at least 2 years previous childcare experience and are CPR certified. We will never refer someone that we wouldn’t trust with our own children.
Q: What does your nanny referral agency cost?
A: For all families there is a nonrefundable deposit of $200 to tart the process and the rest of the referral fee is due upon an accepted offer from both parties. Packages vary depending on specific needs and can be found at HERE.
Q: How is the Nanny paid? Do you bill us, or do we pay the nanny directly?
A: You will pay the nanny directly for the time that she cares for your children.
